In June 2004, React was forced to close due to reasons beyond it's control. In its place, a new company, Resist Music, has been set up by React’s James Horrocks and Melissa Kemp and it has continued React's legacy of releasing some of the best mix CDs in the dance market. Rather than focussing on a particular genre, Resist picks the best of many. The have picked out top DJs to put together the best tracks in Drum & Bass, Techno, Electro, Hip Hop, Minimal & more.
One of the React's biggest names, Jose Padilla recently released his first mix CD in years, 'Cafe Solo' on Resist and a second volume was released in 2007.
2007 also sees the launch of their value packed 'World's Greatest' triple CD series, that aims to bring you the latest tracks with great packaging at a great price. Trance, Electro House, Hardcore, Hard Dance have been covered with an urban offshoot starting off with 'The World's Heaviest Dubstep, Grime & Bass'.
Look out for the killer indie / electro crossover mix CD 'Sex, Drums, Rock & Rave'.
