‘The Headlight Serenade (Special Edition)’ is a reissue of the third (and final) album by TRIOSK, following 2004’s celebrated ‘Moment Returns’ on LEAF, and their 2003 collaboration with JAN JELINEK, ‘1+3+1’ (~scape).
The limited edition bonus disc contains six stunning live tracks from the Sydney trio’s 2006 live session for ABC Radio National, four of which are unavailable in any form elsewhere.
Previously released as a Japanese-only 2CD edition, this version is a one-off pressing of just 500 copies, never to be re-pressed.
The Headlight Serenade will find itself comfortably racked alongside albums by FOUR TET, THE CINEMATIC ORCHESTRA, THE NECKS, BILL EVANS or TORTOISE.
This re-issue coincides with the release of PIVOT’s latest album on WARP, of whom drummer LAURENCE PIKE is a member.
