Birds & Plants & Rocks & Thing
International Deejay
ELECTRO
It’s been 3 years since BEAT SOLER, AKA SEELENLUFT, released his previous album and ‘Birds And Plants And Rocks And Things’ is his most ambitious album to date (and his first for his new home, INTERNATIONAL DEEJAY GIGOLOS) exceeding ‘Out Of The Woods’, the 2002 album which included the mega hit “Manila.” The album title is taken from the lyric in the opening track, a cover of the ’70s AMERICA hit “Horse With No Name”.
The album goes from the psychedelic to the contemplative and it combines his usual harmonious style classic pop structures with lo-fi electro, chanson, and disco. It’s a dance album for shoe-gazers, a living room soundtrack for club heads, a rock album for IDMers and a electro album for Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine fans. This is classy, smart, even bar-friendly electro.
