This is the first full length record by New Zealand’s JAKOB – previously unreleased in Australia this is an altogether more driving, rockier affair than their following records ‘Cale:Drew’ (MID006) & ‘Solace’ (MID013). Recorded by DAVID HOLMES they’ve been able to capture both the pin-drop quietness of the most subtle spacious harmonic, as well as the dense wall of sound that is so powerful in their live shows.
They’ve had a big 18 months, not only having children, but being signed to GRAVEFACE records in the states, CONSPIRACY RECORDS in the EU, playing SXSW in Austin, Denmark’s Forma Nova Festival and are fresh off a tour of Europe supporting ISIS.
