I Was A Cub Scout are a British band raised on a diet of American music. A duo who manage the feat of being both indie and rock, punk and prog, small and yet big (they’ve a sound to fill arenas). Luscious, epic and British are not words you would usually associate with an emo band. But I Was A Cub Scout are not your ordinary emo outfit – they’re two hardcore souls with passion and emotion dripping out of every pore.
They’ve supported bands like Babyshambles, Panic! At The Disco and Editors, played to packed out audiences at the Download and the Reading and Leeds festivals and made one of the most life affirming albums of 2008, ‘I Want You To Know That There Is Always Hope’, which has been produced by Hugh Padgham (The Police/Phil Collins).
