Berlin DJ DANIEL W. BEST, who, with his booking agency Best Works is a long running companion of JAZZANOVA and SONAR KOLLEKIV, has an impeccable musical intuition and aptitude for spotting talent.
Beside Best Works he runs the remarkably fine label BEST SEVEN, which since 1999 has concerned itself with the interface between soul and reggae, and in so doing has naturally integrated facets such as Dub and Downbeat equally into the flexible sound.
He has became Germany’s foremost tastemaker when it comes to this sound and in fact broke FAT FREDDY’S DROP in Europe.
