SAMIM has justly gained a reputation over the past few years as one of the most innovative contemporary dance music producers, and also as one of its most consistently exciting live performers. Berlin´s GET PHYSICAL are proud to present his new solo album, ´Flow´, the debut full-length release under his own name. His remix talents have been in high demand, leading him to rework tracks for the likes of FOURTWENTY, DIRTYBIRD, HIGHGRADE and CROSSTOWN REBELS (his mix of PIER BUCCI´s ´Hay Consuela´was a club smash). Samim´s new LP under his own name is a dizzying document of dance futurism and, as the title suggests, for all its experimentation, for all its twists and tangents, this is an album which never loses its sense of direction, nor its commitment to twisted dancefloor funk. This, ladies and gentlemen, is ‘Flow’. The production is tight, minimalist electro - imagine TIMBALAND if he was based in Berlin and you´ll be halfway there – really! This has to be heard to be believed. Samim´s production abilities and musicianship are not restricted to house, techno & electro.
