YOUNG AND RESTLESS were thrust into the spotlight late last year when they won Triple J’s Unearthed competition, which saw them perform at Homebake in Sydney.
Six months on and Young and Restless have been busy ripping up the stage with the likes of Erase Errata, Cansei De Ser Sexy and Love Is All, as well as recording their self-titled debut album
This their debut self titled album was produced by Tom Larkin’s (Shihad) with radio tracks mixed by the notorious Magoo.
“Pointed At You” and “You Burst Into Flames” and “Kapow” are already on rotation at JJJ and receiving community radio support. Gigs are selling out across the country
Vocalist Karina will feature on the cover of J Mag due 25 June and JJJ have asked the band to play a special live show (which will also go to air) which will receive substantial promotion on the station.
Just announced is the bands appearance on an exclusive triple J Home and Hosed gig happening July 18.
With a massive presence on myspace, the band have been touring and playing to this crowd for well over a year now.
