Following on from the 2CD compi of VASHTI BUNYAN’s early recordings from 1964 - 1967, FATCAT issue a ltd ed pressing of this historic 7”. Originally released in 1965 on the Decca label (as just ‘Vashti’), “Some Things Just Stick In Your Mind” was the young London-based singer’s debut record and was written by MICK JAGGER & KEITH RICHARDS. Re-mastered here from a rare existing copy of the original 7” the song is revealed as a classic pop stomper with a full orchestral effect and a centre-point of Vashti’s inimitable vocal.
