CIOCARLIA (the gypsy brass band who recently picked up the award for 'Best European Artist' at the BBC Radio 3 World Music Awards), the album is very much aligned with the current vogue for Balkan punk/folk music (of GOGOL BORDELLO) championed by everyone from GILLES PETERSON to BASEMENT JAXX.
