THE INSTANT are a young four piece instrumental act based out of Newcastle in Australia. They represent the first AUSTRALIAN signing to ETCH N SKETCH.
The album 'Notes and Errata' was recorded by the band and mixed at Sydney's Velvet Studios (THE VINES, YOUTH GROUP)
Support slots with up and comers SNOWMAN, HOWLING BELLS and STARKY have drawn postive feedback and respect and most importantly a committed fan
base.
The album is in an exclusive digi pack, designed by JOSH ANDREWS (MY DISCO)
They are about to commence support tours for MY LATEST NOVEL + HOME VIDEO as well as a separate tour with THE VALENTINOS in DECEMBER
They fit with the current scene of angular post punk, aggressive post hardcore like artists MY DISCO, THE TEMPER TRAP, SHAKY HANDS as well as having strong appeal for fans of the established MOGWAI, EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY or FUGAZI.
