> Gersey formed in Melbourne in 1997. Their debut EP, 'Bewilderment Is A Blessing', was released on WAY OVER THERE RECORDS in early 1999 to critical acclaim. A quick buzz ensued and they were subsequently signed to TRIFEKTA, a relationship that resulted in two timeless albums, 'Hope Springs' (2000) and 'Storms Dressed As Stars' (2003).
> They began the transformation into a great live band early on, and are currently at the peak of their powers. Gersey have played the Homebake, Livid and Falls festivals and have supported the likes of WILCO, MERCURY REV, MOGWAI and FLAMING LIPS, as well as continually touring the country, selling out their largest shows to date.
