Staggeringly, Spoon are now on their sixth album, the recent TRIPLE J FEATURE ALBUM, \'Gimme Fiction\' OLE6602. \'I Turn My Camera On\' is a sinister-sounding single with a nagging bass hook and sleazy vocals, courtesy of Britt Daniels. It is primarily concerned with failed relationships but a line such as \"I turn my camera on / I turn my feelings on / it made me untouchable for life\" provides few clues. Lyrical ambiguity aside, \'I Turn My Camera On\' is possibly the most sordid sounding thing one could hear this year, and for that alone Spoon should be applauded. The CD single features two non-album tracks \"Carry Out Kids\" and \"You Was It\". The 7\" single features the demo version of \"I Turn My Camera On\".
